The characters presented in this exclusive Moomin mobile are redrawn by Riina and Sami Kaarla from Tove Jansson's original drawings from her cartoons published from 1954 to 1959.
Tove Jansson (1914-2001) was a Finnish painter, illustrator and author. She drew her first Moomin in the 1930s. Besides the Moomin novels and short stories, Tove Jansson wrote and illustrated highly popular picture books and drew comic strips about the Moomins.
